Prior to Challenger, Travis was an Associate in the technology mergers and acquisitions investment banking group for Deutsche Bank Securities in the San Francisco office, working on buy-side and sell-side transactions across various sectors of the technology industry. There, he participated in over $2 billion of global M&A transactions, including the sale of Tandberg Television to Ericcson.
Mr. Callahan began his career at Ernst & Young LLP, handling external audit for the technology, communication and entertainment industry group. During his time at Ernst & Young, he led audits and reviews on multinational public companies as well as private companies and startups in the technology sector.
Travis has an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.S. in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, and bachelor degrees in finance and economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently licensed as a Texas Certified Public Accountant.
In his free time, Mr. Callahan enjoys running, football and basketball. Travis is active in the Young Men’s Business League of Austin and sits on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Central Texas.
