Rita Schreyer is the Latin American representative for Cappello Group, Inc. Ms. Schreyer has 16 years of experience in corporate marketing and finance, new business development, private equity placement, international private banking, and starting and assisting in the growth of companies in a financial and business development role. Ms. Schreyer is a Managing Director of Latin Projects, a firm that focuses on helping U.S. companies enter Latin American markets and build competitive advantage through focused marketing and financing strategies using key partners in the region.
Previously, Ms. Schreyer was a Director in Merrill Lynch’s International Private Client Group, focusing on servicing the needs of the firm’s wealthiest international clients. Prior to joining Merrill, Ms. Schreyer worked for Mobil Oil Corp. in a variety of roles, including Vice President and Controller of New Ventures in Mexico City, Controller for New England Operations, and Director for Market Development in the LNG and Power Division. Before joining Cappello Group, Ms. Schreyer started Latin Projects LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Latin Projects has conducted due diligence and risk analysis work for a number of new investments made by U.S. firms throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Ms. Schreyer is an active speaker and instructor on career management skills to high school and community college students. She is a contributor to the National Career Development Association’s quarterly publication and was a guest lecturer at the University of Massachusetts.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Ms. Schreyer is actively involved in supporting and participating in organizations that provide housing, domestically and internationally, to the underprivileged and those that have suffered due to natural disasters, including Christmas in April and Habitat for Humanity.
EDUCATION
Ms. Schreyer received a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) from The George Washington University in 1989, including completion of an eight-month course of study at the School of Letters at Pontificia Universidade Catolica of Rio De Janeiro (PUCI) in 1988. Ms. Schreyer received a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1994.
PERSONAL
In her free time, Ms. Schreyer’s interests include the study and appreciation of wine, swimming, honing her photography skills, learning to cook from various cultures, and traveling.
