Jay Jablonow has over 28 years of extensive experience with special expertise in raising debt, mezzanine capital and equity for early stage small, mid-sized and large cap public and private companies within the financial services industry at diverse Wall Street firms.

Before joining Cappello Group, Inc., Mr. Jablonow was a Managing Director at Flagstone Securities, an investment bank specializing in REIT equities, where he was hired to establish and build a Los Angeles office, diversify revenues, develop new institutional investors and forge relationships with private equity and hedge funds. While at Flagstone, he successfully attracted a new investment banking client in the student housing real estate market and successfully raised 100 million in acquisition financing.  Before joining Flagstone Securities, Jay was a Director at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, building a high yield sales team and secured real estate capability in Los Angeles, generating new clients and expanding product capabilities. Jay was subsequently recruited to move to New York to head International and Domestic Syndication of High Yield securities. Prior to working at Merrill, Jay was recruited to join Drexel Burnham Lambert to grow and develop sales of high yield corporate bonds and oversee and expand a client base with $30 billion under management.

Mr. Jablonow began his work on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers in Chicago. Originally in the taxable fixed income sales group selling government, corporate and mortgage backed securities and was asked to launch a 12 person group to establish a high yield business firm wide that created over 1 billion in new issue securities origination.

He has been a guest lecturer at The Peter Drucker School of Business, Claremont College, Pomona, California and California Lutheran University, School of Business, Thousand Oaks, California.

Jay is from St Louis and has a B.S.B.A and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Jay was a founding member of the Washington University, Los Angeles Regional cabinet and is actively involved with the University.  He has lived in Los Angeles since 1986.
